When its all over, probably in a year or two from now, if the Giants want him, they should have the right to keep him, and the opposite is true as well. I like Burress. I like his toughness and remember how he played with an injured ankle for most of 2007, as well as all through the playoffs. But this could have been catastrophic in a Sean Taylor way and no matter the outcome, Burress should at least experience a new sense of humility.
